The Outpatient Urban Trauma Center, funded by the Department of Children and Families, seeks to reach individuals who have experienced these types of traumas. The OUTC provides outpatient mental health services within the target population of Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, and/or multi- racial and other minority children ages 4-18 and their families who have been exposed to urban, racial, or other traumas. Services within the OUTC include individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, multi-family groups as well as community-based organizational activities to support the treatment and recovery of children who have been exposed to urban and racial trauma.
